Also known as Blue Lace Agate, this mineral has been referred to as the Ecology Mineral becuase of it soft bands of white and blue. While agates are found worldwide, the Blue Agate variety sources only from Namibia, South Africa, and Russia. Blue Agate froms from volcanic magma after cooling and transforming into crystals.
